Las Vegas Area Gun Transfers
As the ONLY pawn shop in the Las Vegas area selling guns, we are more than happy to assist you with your firearms transfers from the internet auction and sales sites. ALL applicable local, state and federal laws WILL be adhered to. Remember, YOU are responsible to file a return and pay ALL applicable Nevada Use and Sales Taxes! Just make your deal with the seller and contact us with the seller's info so we can get them an FFL copy. NOTICE: Please note that we will NOT transfer raven, lorcin, jennings, high point, davis, jimenez, bryco, cobra, rg and similar guns and we reserve the right to return any such firearms to the seller. PLEASE choose a real quality firearm that will work, not break and serve you well. Remember, with guns, you do generally get what you pay for!
Here's how it works -
- When you win your auction, just send us an email with the sellers name, address, what the item is and your name and prefered contact method.
- Take care of paying for the purchase directly with the seller, NOT us. Let them know that we will be the transfer agents. We will send them a copy of our FFL (Federal Firearms License) so they can ship the gun to us.
- After it arrives and we have had time to log it into our books, you can then come by and complete the paperwork for your new gun. Your firearm will be ready within 24 hrs of it's arrival - NOT ten minutes after your tracking numbers shows it has arrived. In order to provide the best customer service over the counter, we log guns in before we open and after we close and BETWEEN customers, (not INSTEAD of taking care of customers in line) so PLEASE give us a chance to get them logged in. Many days, we get 20 or more at a time. We will take care of all the paperwork and registration (for handguns), you are responsible for the brady tax and any applicable use taxes owed to the state. That's all there is to it! The cost is now $30 per gun plus the brady tax. (CLASS III firearms/suppressors etc run only $50).
We can accept firearms from dealers and individuals. We do require that dealers provide a copy of their FFL and that an individual provide us with a copy of their drivers license or other state issued ID. This is required for us to be able to accept the firearm and log it in, and provides an extra layer of protection for you. In the very rare and unlikely chance that the firearm has been altered to an illegal configuration or is stolen, this will help provide a paper trail to protect you. This is not likely to happen, so don't worry, but anyone wanting to do something less than legal will go elsewhere when required to present their ID.
* NOW OFFERING Nevada, Utah and Florida Concealed Firearms Permit classes! This is the course required for you to apply for your CCW permit. Anyone who is 21 or over and can legally buy and own a gun can get a permit, regardless of the state of your residence. Our course is only $70 (compared to up to $300 for other locations around town!) Call or email for more information. Classes are offered several times a month.
