 * NOW OFFERING Nevada and Utah Concealed Firearms Permit classes! This is the course required for you to apply for your CCW permit. Anyone who is 21 or over and can legally buy and own a gun can get a permit, regardless of the state of your residence. Our course is only $60 (compared to up to $300 for other locations around town!) Call or email for more information. Classes are offered 4 to 8 times a month.

I am always happy to answer emails about a specific item you are looking for, and we can ship to an FFL dealer near you for the transfer. Sorry, we do NOT ship to individuals without an FFL. Period. (I have to put in, as I get a few emails asking for this.) ALL local and federal laws will be followed to the letter!

Special orders are welcome, and are done for cost plus 10% for cash, cost plus 13% on a credit card, plus shipping and sales tax. We can use our regular distributors or any distributor of your choosing. This is available ONLY for guns that we do not have in inventory or stock on a regular basis.

We are also happy to receive firearms purchased on the various gun auction sites. Just send me an email with the sellers name and address, your name and what the item is and I will mail out the FFL. You deal directly with the seller for payment. Email me for a firearms transfer.

General requirements in Nevada concerning buying a gun, gun shows and transfers at the various 'Las Vegas Gun Shows.'

To buy a handgun in Clark County, you need to be at least 21 years of age, be a Nevada resident WITH A NEVADA STATE ISSUED ID CARD OR DRIVERS' LICENSE, and have a clean criminal background. We are currently stuck with the STATE 'brady TAX' of $25 .00 and investigation on ALL gun purchases or transfers. Holders of a current Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit are NO LONGER exempt from the brady tax and check. You will need to complete the federal 4473 form. If you are buying 2 or more handguns in ANY five consecutive business day period, the dealer will also fill out a 'Multiple pistol report form' complete with serial numbers and send it to the ATF for inclusion in the federal records.

Clark county is the only county in the state to have a gun registration scheme. We have been stuck with this *&#&%@(# law that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING good and serves only to violate our privacy since the 'feel good, warm and fuzzy' anti-gun, anti-Constitution laws were being passed in the fifties. When you buy a handgun, county registration forms are filled out and you will have to wait for a three day 'cooling off' period before you can have your gun. At this time you will be given a 'blue card' gun registration card. At any later date, that blue card will keep you from having to wait for the three day period again. Also, if you have a Nevada concealed weapons permit, you will not have to wait for the three day cooling off period or submit to the backround form, check or TAX. (NO, out of state permits do not qualify for this exemtion!) With the 'blue card,' you will still have to undergo filling out a background form and check and pay the Brady TAX to the state, which MAY let you pick up your handgun at the time of purchase, or it my delay you for as long as seven days while they complete this background check. If you are turned down on your background check, you may appeal this with the Highway Patrol, who does the background checks.

In order to buy a rifle or shotgun, you may be from Nevada or any contiguous state (NO, NOT CALIFORNIA SO DON'T ASK!) such as Utah, Arizona or Idaho. The only form needing to be completed is the federal 4473 form and submitting to a brady check and TAX. EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 30, 1998, YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT TO THE BRADY BACKROUND FORM, CHECK AND PAY THE BRADY TAX ON ALL GUNS, IN CLUDING RIFLES AND SHOTGUNS!!!!! You will need to be 18 or over and have the same clean criminal background. Rifles and shotguns may be taken with you at the time of the sale, unless delayed by the brady crap.

IF YOU PAWN YOUR GUNS, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE BRADY BACKROUND CHECK AND PAY THE 'TAX' TO GET YOUR OWN GUN BACK!!!! MAKE SURE YOU LET GOOD OL' HARRY REID KNOW HOW YOU LIKE THIS ONE!!!

BATFE Says that Nevada has a 'deficiency" in our CCW law because two words are not present - 'or renewal' - so we all now have to pay the brady tax and submit to a background check for EACH gun purchase. Make sure and let ALL candidates know you will vote based on this and other gun issues. We are working to get it changed but we need the help of ALL Nevada gun owners! ---- If you have become a 'de facto' registered gun owner with a Nevada Concealed Weapons Permit, you will NOT have to complete a Brady form, pay the brady TAX or undergo a new backround check.

The 'criminal background' requirements include not only felonies, but certain misdemeanors such as stalking and domestic violence. If you have ANY convictions, you will not be able to purchase ANY TYPE OF FIREARM. Depending on the location of the felony, it MAY be possible to have your record sealed and have your civil rights restored. This will partly depend on the type of crime, how long ago it was and whether the state it occurred in allows for firearms purchase with restored civil rights. CHECK WITH YOUR ATTORNEY FOR MORE INFORMATION IN THIS MATTER!

If you are a resident alien, you will need to provide your INS ID ('green card') as well as receipts or other documents such as paycheck stubs, rent receipts, utility bills matching your drivers' license address, bank statments or any other papers that will establish that you have lived here for at least 90 days.
